Every year, flood season is the haunting time to people in Central Vietnam and this year, it’s even worse when rains come after rains, and storms come after storms while the danger of Covid is still around.
Currently, there are more than 14,097 hecta damaged agricultural lands, 247,001 flooded/damaged houses, 767,073 lost livestocks, 375,000 people evacuated, 133 deaths, 44 missing…
Among the wuthering sound of rains, winds and storms… crying, calling and
screaming of children who lost their parents, fathers who lost their kids, wives who lost their families…
Among the wuthering sound of rains, winds and storms… sinking people in
flooding water trying to save their families or clinging to anything to save their lives… with desperation.
The pain is so heart-wrenching.
You might think, “I’m just one person” or “I don’t have much to help”. But these could add up to a lot if each of us donates.
